Mack Scogin and Merrill Elam attended a luncheon at the White House, hosted by First Lady Michelle Obama, in honor of their receipt of the 2012 National Design Award in Architecture Design. The recipients in the ten other categories of the award were present as well. In addition to the luncheon, the winners spoke with teenagers who aspire to careers in design at the Teen Design Fair.
