Mack Scogin Merrill Elam Architects Accepts National Design Award for Architecture Design

Mack Scogin and Merrill Elam accepted the award at the 13th annual National Design Awards Gala at Pier Sixty in New York on October 17. The gala was attended by artists, fashion designers, graphic designers, architects and numerous other design enthusiasts.

The event took place in the middle of National Design Week, from October 13-21. Launched in 2006, National Design Week sponsors educational programs for students, professionals and the general public that demonstrate the importance of design in our society and everyday life. The Smithsonian’s Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum sponsors events across the country including the National Design Awards Program, teen design fairs, lectures, seminars, studio tours and film screenings among others.
